Da Vinci Robotic Surgery

The da Vinci Surgical System enables Dr. Hamoui to perform complex urologic procedures through tiny incisions using a magnified 3D high-definition view and wristed robotic instruments that move with greater precision and range of motion than the human hand. Dr. Hamoui is trained by Intuitive Surgical and has trained other surgeons in robotic techniques.

How It Works

Surgeon operates from a console with magnified, immersive 3D view
Robotic arms translate hand movements into precise micro-movements

4–5 small incisions (0.5–1.5 cm) replace a single large open cut
