Enlarged Prostate (BPH)

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that compresses the urethra and causes urinary symptoms. It is extremely common in men over 50 and has a wide range of effective treatments.

Symptoms

  • Weak or slow urine stream
  • Frequent nighttime urination (nocturia)
  • Urgency or difficulty holding urine
